Welcome to the official Quincy House web site. Located in sunny Brookland and home of seven wild and crazy Catholic guys, the Quincy House is making a difference in the community, and in the world at large, one step at a time.

Quincy House members include:

Nathan Castellanos: Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Nathan came to D.C. to study Philosophy at the Catholic University of America and pursue other interests. He is currently employed as a webmaster, and has become the Quincy House Event planner. Bringing to the House his musical talents and taste for fine beverages, Nathan enjoys the company of good friends, fine cinema, and discussing topics of importance. He also spends free time developing several web projects that will some day make him rich beyond your wildest dreams.

Jeffrey Lau: Hailing from Pennsylvania, Jeff also came to D.C. to pursue a Ph.D. in Philosophy at CUA. Jeff possesses a warmth and subtlety of wit that few can rival, bringing a flavor all his own. Mild-mannered by day, super hero by night, Jeff excels in hospitality, careful reflection and awesome bass guitar skills. His hobbies include reading, taking long walks on the beach and crafting fine furniture.

Paul Heimann: Having grown up in Illinois, Paul moved to D.C. to pursue a B.A. in Philosophy at CUA, which he received in 2005. Defying the convention of moving on after finishing his studies, Paul remained in the House and took a job with a local Telecom pricing intelligence vendor, where, in addition to managing their consumer pricing research department, he spends much of his time contemplating the connection between fiber-optic deployments, pricing data and phenomenology. His hobbies include reading and playing the devil's advocate, as well as producing music for local independent bands.

Aaron Linderman: Another native of Arizona, Aaron is studying for an MA in Statecraft & National Security at the Institute of World Politics and working for a private investigator on a 1946 cold-case murder. He brought to the house a subscription to the Financial Times, a knack for historical research, a sense of paranoia regarding China and the sometimes reckless desire to plant things in the back yard. He has also been known to emcee Coffee Houses and other neighborhood events.

Jonathan Krause: Proving that you can't have too many Philosophy-interested people living under one roof, Jon came to D.C. to pursue a Ph.D. in Philosophy at CUA and has since taken up his residence at the Quincy House. Originally from Minnesota, Jon brings a no-nonsense Midwestern sensibility to the House. Jon enjoys foreign films and helping old ladies cross the street.

Santiago Ramos: A rabid football fan, Santiago hails from Kansas, where he spent long years cultivating a taste for angst-ridden cinema and (censored) politics.

Chris Wilson: Bringing the southern flair to the Quincy house, Mr. Wilson hails from Alabama, or as we often refer to it, "Bama.". Also a former student at the JPII Institute, he enjoys watching Duke basketball, and he cooks a mea Jambalaya. And though he doesn't generally like to talk about it, in 2005 he was voted the "Deep South's Sexiest Man of the Year," a title he forfeited when he moved north. Sorry ladies, he's spoken for.
